We’ve been hard at work improving RoadtripTribes based on your feedback, making it even better for your adventures.

• Smarter Arrival Time Calculations – Based on user feedback, we have improved how arrival times are calculated, ensuring better accuracy for trip planning.

• Waypoints Just Got Smarter! – Waypoints are now treated as pass-through points by default, meaning navigation won’t announce them unless explicitly marked as a stop. In the Beta version, you can now specify whether a waypoint is a stop (for fuel, food, attractions, or scenic views) or just a pass-through, making coordination with your tribe much easier.

• Ongoing Route & Rerouting Optimisation – We continue refining navigation and rerouting functionality for a smoother experience.

RoadtripTribes is Moving to a Subscription Model

We’ve kept RoadtripTribes free for as long as possible, but to continue running and improving the platform, we will be introducing a subscription model before the summer.

RoadtripTribes has grown much bigger than we ever thought possible, and while that’s an amazing achievement, it also means that the costs of running the platform have become much higher than we can afford on our own. To keep RoadtripTribes thriving and continue adding the features you love, we need to introduce a sustainable business model.
